MARE ARCOLOGY KIT
Brachistochrone — 2070 lunar habitat props
Godot 4.x · 1 unit = 1 metre · Y-up · +Z forward
STYLE
Low-poly polygonal sci-fi (POLYGON / Synty-inspired, original meshes).
Cream hulls, teal glass, orange hazard, charcoal mechanics, cyan lights.
Flat-shaded. Glass materials are transparent (name: Glass, double-sided).
No characters, weapons, vehicles, or planets.
221 props.
WALKABLE HULLS
Habitat, Agri Dome, Airlock, Hex Corridor are hollow.
Doors are punched openings (not decals). A 1.8 m capsule walks through.
Habitat / Airlock / Agri Dome ship a glTF clip named DoorOpen.
In Godot: AnimationPlayer → play "DoorOpen". Doors slide on +X.
Clips named Fx* are looping particles (steam, smoke, sparks, drips, motes).
Set each Fx clip to loop. They are born at the emitter and fade as they travel.
PALETTE
Hull cream #E8D5B5
Accent #E08A3C
Teal #2F7A74
Charcoal #24282C
Cyan light #5EC8D0
Lunar dust #C4BDB0
Glass #3D8A92
IMPORT
1. Drop the glb/ folder into res://assets/arcology/
2. Godot 4 will import each GLB as a scene.
3. For static dressing: wrap in StaticBody3D and add a CollisionShape3D
(Trimesh for structure, Box/Cylinder for crates and drums).
Hollow hulls: Convex is wrong — use Trimesh or hand-placed boxes
around the opening so the player can walk in.
4. Materials are embedded PBR. Recolor by swapping StandardMaterial3D
albedo on named parts: Hull, Trim, Metal, Glass, Light.
5. Emissive parts (Light, Holo, Core) already carry emission.
6. Grow sockets are nodes named PlantSpot. Instance a crop stage
(soy, potato, smoke, palmate) as a child of that node. The pot
feet are the origin, so the saucer sits in the well. Do not scale it.
Empty pot is MA_GrowPot.glb. Soil bed is MA_GrowPlot.glb.
SCALE
Built around a 1.8 m player capsule. Doors 2.1 m. Counters 0.88 m.
Habitat ~2.8 m interior, 6.3 m long. Agri dome ~6.5 m across.
Place feet on y = 0.
